Behaviour Modification

Pets, like people, can sometimes exhibit challenging behaviours that impact their quality of life and the bond they share with their owners. Addressing behavioural issues in pets requires expertise and personalised care, which is why we offer behaviour modification consultations led by Dr. Julie Girdler. Whether your pet is struggling with anxiety, aggression, compulsive behaviours, or phobias, Dr. Julie takes the time to thoroughly assess your pet’s behaviour and develop a personalised treatment plan to address a wide range of behavioural issues using medication and positive reinforcement training techniques. With our commitment to compassionate care and effective solutions, we’ll work with you to help your pet overcome their behavioural challenges and become a happier, healthier member of your family.

Geriatric Health Screening

As pets age, they become more susceptible to a variety of health issues that can impact their quality of life, which is why we offer comprehensive geriatric health screening services specifically tailored for senior pets. These screenings are designed to detect age-related health issues early, allowing for timely intervention and management. From bloodwork and urinalysis to mobility assessments, our geriatric health screenings provide valuable insight into your pet’s overall health and well-being to help ensure that your furry friend enjoys their golden years to the fullest.

Vaccinations

Vaccinations play a crucial role in protecting your pet from a variety of contagious and potentially life-threatening diseases. At all three of our branches, we offer a comprehensive range of vaccines tailored to your pet’s individual needs and lifestyle. From core vaccines that are essential for all pets to lifestyle vaccines that are recommended based on your pet’s risk factors, we’ll work with you to develop a vaccination protocol that keeps your furry friend safe and healthy.

Microchipping

Microchipping is a simple yet invaluable procedure that provides a permanent form of identification for your beloved pet. We understand the importance of ensuring your pet’s safety and well-being, which is why we offer microchipping services to help reunite lost pets with their owners quickly and efficiently. During the microchipping procedure, a tiny, implantable microchip is inserted just beneath your pet’s skin, typically between the shoulder blades. This microchip contains a unique identification number that is registered with the NSW Pet Registry, linking your pet to your contact information. In the event that your pet becomes lost or separated from you, veterinary clinics, animal shelters, and animal control agencies can scan your pet for a microchip and access your contact details, facilitating a swift reunion. Microchipping is a safe and reliable form of identification that can provide peace of mind for pet owners, knowing that their furry family member has a permanent means of identification.

To check that your pet’s microchip details are up to date, visit the NSW Pet Registry.
